Three-Day Cyanotype Printing Workshop

Dates: Tuesday, Wednesday, and Thursday, January 28-30, 2025, from 10 AM to 3 PM
Capacity: 6 participants
- No prerequisites are required, and participants do not need prior photography or image-making experience.
- Solutions and necessary materials (except paper) will be provided to participants.
- Participants will have the opportunity to print approximately 30 A4-sized images using 200 ml of solution.
Workshop Details:
After reviewing the history of historical printing techniques, all stages of printing images using cyanotype solutions on paper and fabric will be taught step-by-step:
- Introduction to tools
- Converting photos to negatives
- Preparing emulsions
- Sensitizing paper and fabric surfaces to light
- Exposing and developing the image
- Washing and fixing
- Toning and de-toning
⭕️ After the training, participants can use the workshop facilities for two days (16 hours) in groups of two to conduct tests and practice their projects.

روزهای برگزاری: سه‌‌شنبه، چهارشنبه و پنج‌شنبه (۹، ۱۰ و ۱۱ بهمن‌ماه ۱۴۰۳)، از ساعت ۱۰ صبح تا ۱۵
ظرفیت: شش نفر
* شرکت در این کلاس پیش‌نیازی ندارد و لازم نیست شرکت‌کنندگان سابقه‌ی عکاسی یا کار با عکس داشته باشند.
* محلول‌ها و وسایل مورد نیاز (به‌جز کاغذ) در اختیار شرکت‌کنندگان قرار خواهد گرفت.
* شرکت‌کنندگان فرصت خواهند داشت با دویست میلی‌لیتر محلول، حدود ۳۰ قطعه تصویر در قطع A-4 را به چاپ برسانند.

در این کارگاه بعد از مرور تاریخچه‌ی چاپ‌های تاریخی، گام به گام تمامی مراحل چاپ تصویر با محلول‌های سایانوتایپ روی مقوا و پارچه آموزش داده خواهد شد:
- شناخت ابزار
- تبدیل عکس به نگاتیو
- تهیه‌ی امولسیون‌ها
- حساس کردن سطوح کاغذی و پارچه‌ای به نور
- نوردهی و اکسپوز تصویر
- شستشو و تثبیت
- رنگ‌گذاری و رنگ‌برداری
⭕️ پس از پایان آموزش، شرکت‌کننده‌ها برای انجام تست‌ها و تمرین‌های مربوط به پروژه‌شان، در گروه‌های دو نفره، به مدت دو روز (۱۶ ساعت) می‌توانند از امکانات کارگاه استفاده کنند.
